VCU Health s Department of Urology CMH location - has an exciting position to share we re seeking a BC/BE Urologist to care for the South Hill, VA, community.

About VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital

VCU Health s Community Memorial Hospital is an 80-bed facility with a wide range of care. It is located near beautiful Lake Gaston approximately 75 miles south of VCU Health s main campus in Richmond, VA and 75 miles north of the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.

The current primary service area is around 80,000, covering Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Brunswick counties with secondary service area extending into North Carolina.

Urologist Position

Clinical services include:

• Maintaining a busy, patient-centered clinical practice including inpatient and outpatient management of all general urological diagnoses & operative procedures
• being available to the emergency
• collaborate with other hospital departments & community organizations
• maintain clinical competency in General Urology

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from ACGME accredited residency
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Urology
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Experience in quality and education
