• Coverage Type: 24-hour in-house call with OR coverage during weekdays & weekends

• Clinic: Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM ( 8-10 patients/day)

• Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient - hospital-based; pure CT surgery practice (no vascular cases)

• Duties:

  • Vein harvesting (required)

  • First assist - not required (but experience preferred)

  • Chest tubes

  • Management of central, arterial, and PICC lines

  • Overnight call, patient call, OR help, weekend coverage

• Admissions: Not responsible for admissions; PA/NP completes H&P, etc.

• Call Hours: 24 hours

• Response Time: 20 minutes

• Call Type: In-house

• Call Ratio: 1:4

• Phone Consults: 5 per night

• Call Patients Seen: 15/day

• Hospital Stroke Certified

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified - Required

• ACLS, BLS - Required

• PA must have vein harvesting experience
