VHS is looking for a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - Obstetrics.

• Description: Specialty: CRNA Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 26 weeksShift Details: 4x10sSchedule: Full-Time 10a-8:30p 1/2-hour lunch MUST be available 4 weeks/monthWork Details: • Support staff: CRNA Anesthesia Tech Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity CRNAs are medically directed typically 2-1 or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room so their primary focus is on that room and on teaching.• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time 4 x 10/week 6 months • Patients per day: Depends 1-9/daily• Patient population/age: All age spans no Neonatal• Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho Trauma Vascular Neuro No Heart• EMR: EPIC preferred• All providers will be required to work NORA • Skills required: Intubation Central Line Arterial line Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks.
