ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support counselor with the college application process Recruit students for scholarships and summer internship programs and help guide them with application process Work one-on-one with student to review academic progress Assist counselor with mock interviews with students General data entry (ie. senior graduation/college tracking information, Student Community Service hours, Cal Grant GPA info) Schedule parent meetings with counselor Support Testing Coordinator/Counselor with preparing PSAT/AP Exam materials Support with contacting and scheduling College/Career Fair participants Schedule campus tour visits and support with planning logistics Support with SAT registration Tally Exit Slips and questionnaires Support with Graduation Progress Packets for all Advisories Make general copies of counseling center documents (e.g., adult school applications, community service logs, flyers, etc.) QUALIFICATIONS: Must be enrolled in a graduate school program for a PPS Credential in School Counseling COMPENSATION: The salary for this position is unpaid.
