Requirements Be at least 17 years of age Have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Be a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Reliable personal transportation to travel to service sites up to an hour outside of Tampa Ability to commit to serving full-time, Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm and an average of two Saturdays a month. AmeriCorps members serve an average of 42.5 hours per week to complete 1700 hours of service during a temporary 10-month service term.
