Position Purpose: The Shipping & Receiving Associate II performs intermediate-level shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory tasks. This position requires proficiency in ERP transactions, equipment operation, and shipping/receiving processes with moderate independence. Shipping & Receiving Operations Independently receive purchase orders and intercompany transfers in Deacom.Complete inventory transactions accurately and ensure material is stored in correct locations.Prepare outgoing shipments following company standards and applicable regulations (49 CFR, IATA).Inspect incoming goods for quality, damage, and accuracy. Equipment Operation Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Retrieve and place items in racks using the forklift. Inventory Control Conduct routine cycle counts and validate count accuracy.Pull and interpret incoming & inventory reports from Deacom.Support discrepancy investigations. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records through ERP systems.Ensure all materials are labeled correctly and stored per regulations.Assist in maintaining GMP compliance through documentation and monitoring. Safety & Communication Act as a resource for entry-level employees on standard tasks.Identify and report defective materials, safety risks, or process deviations. Additional Duties Other duties as assigned by the Shipping & Receiving Manager. Required Skills: Proficiency with Deacom inventory and receiving functions.Certified or experienced in forklift operation.Strong understanding of shipping methods, routing, and basic regulatory requirements.Ability to troubleshoot common receiving/shipping issues. Physical Demands The physical responsibilities described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, as well as talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Must be able to regularly use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and climb stairs. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift shipping and receiving supplies up to 50 pounds and ability to push or pull up to 400 pounds. Working conditions The position works in a shipping and receiving warehouse setting. This role routinely uses shipping and receiving equipment such as a pallet jack, forklifts, and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Travel Local travel to multiple worksites during the business day may be required. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
