The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time HVAC Technician to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation and performance of electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and building repair maintenance systems. What will you do? Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, install, replace, or repair damaged equipment, and calibrate thermostatic controls Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; repair and replace damaged or worn heating Inspect and observe the pressure of liquids and vapor with HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments Operate a motor vehicle when necessary More about you No high school diploma or GED required Minimum of five years' experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration An HVAC license is required Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles, when required Physical requirements Ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions for long periods of time Ability to work at various heights, including frequent use of a ladder Shift details Days Evenings Overnight Holidays Weekends 8hr shift OT as needed Who we are Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook.
