Collaborate with field labor supervisor to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of an integrated project schedule Maintain working knowledge of contract drawings, detail drawings and specs Negotiate agreements with our subcontractors and assure their performance Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications or project Leadership/Administration Consistently meet deadline and project commitments Train, mentor, and delegate staff effectively Demonstrate a customer service approach to management Establish and maintain an effective system of communication throughout the project team Write subcontracts and purchase orders Marketing/Relationships Source/secure new business opportunities by establishing contacts and sustaining long term relationships Foster outstanding positive client relationships Deliver effective presentations and demonstrate accomplished interview skills Qualifications and Skills Must have at least 8 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator Ability to read drawings complete take-offs Experience with estimating software i.e. PlanSwift Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Accu-bid software is Required Procore experience preferred Strong cost control and project budget management experience. Must be flexible and have strong multi-tasking capabilities. Must be able to able to conceptually estimate based on preliminary architectural drawings and outline performance requirements/scope of work for subcontractors. Strong ability to work with others: clients, fellow workers, subordinates and management. Strong abilities in scheduling and must be familiar with purchase orders, project manager documents and writing contracts. Job Type: Full-time
