Key Responsibilities Submission Intake & Triage Review all incoming broker submissions for eligibility and underwriting appetite Evaluate submissions for premium size, account type, and complexity Ensure all submissions are acknowledged, logged, and tracked consistently Underwriting & Quoting Quote new business Commercial General Liability and Excess Liability accounts within an established Junior Underwriter authority Underwrite and manage small commercial accounts in accordance with underwriting guidelines Maintain ownership of assigned accounts throughout the policy lifecycle Identifying and referring appropriate risks to senior underwriting staff for advanced underwriting review Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years of experience in commercial underwriting, underwriting support, or insurance operations Solid understanding of Commercial General Liability and Excess Liability products Experience underwriting or evaluating construction-related risks preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills Proven ability to manage a high-volume workflow with accuracy and timely turnaround Production-driven mindset with a focus on new business growth Effective communication skills for broker and internal partner interaction Institute designations not required, by advantageous and preferred Pay Range: $75k-$100k USD/per year Compensation details: 00 Yearly Salary PIb3d930042a06-2927
