Position Responsibilities: Develop, lead, and integrate a comprehensive Environmental strategy for the 787 Program and the BSC site that aligns with corporate goals and site business plans Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with site leadership, engineering, operations, construction, and cross-functional teams to ensure environmental requirements and best practices are embedded in daily operations and long-term planning Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, Boeing's internal policies. Maintain and continuously improve the environmental management system and compliance oversight processes Provide oversight and technical direction for environmental permitting, reporting, and inspections; coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed Partner with site expansion, construction, and design teams to integrate environmental requirements into facility design, construction planning, and operational readiness activities to enable safe, compliant growth Serve as a liaison with government agencies to cultivate and maintain productive regulatory relationships Lead, mentor, and develop environmental staff; foster a high-performing team culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning Identify, prioritize, and drive environmental initiatives and integrated action plans that reduce risk, improve performance, and deliver measurable business value.
