Interface with internal Engineering, Project Management, and Controls teams to resolve technical or equipment-related issues in the field. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve field mechanical issues under pressure. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have direct report supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This is a field assignment, work is onsite at assigned location. Fast paced, time sensitive, stressful, construction environment where there are no exceptions to the safety and quality requirements. Large amount of decision-making daily with accuracy margins associated. Exciting and ever-changing environment of Lean methodology employed daily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. This position is performed inside and outside with uncontrolled weather conditions. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. 8+ years of experience in mechanical installation or field service in industrial or commercial environments. 3+ years in a supervisory or senior field mechanical role. Hands-on experience with mechanical system startup and commissioning. Knowledge of mechanical codes and safety standards (OSHA, ASME, ANSI, etc.). Knowledge of quality system, process control, and tool control, etc. Preferred Education and Experience Associate's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Technology, HVAC, or a related field. Experience with modular energy systems, packaged utility plants, or central utility systems. Certifications in rigging, equipment alignment, or mechanical commissioning. Familiarity with IIoT-enabled mechanical systems or smart mechanical infrastructure. OSHA 30 and first aid/CPR certifications. Work Authorization Must be qualified to work in the United States. Must hold a current US Passport or have ability to obtain.
