Essential Functions • Diagnosis of problems on all operational systems of vehicles. • Prepare service estimates for the repair of vehicles and communicate any service needed. • Perform mechanical service and repair as indicated and in accordance with shop requirements. • Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. • Conduct a brief overall vehicle inspection to identify obvious safety or mechanical issues. • Communicate any additional service needs encountered, along with the time and cost scope to complete. • Execute repairs and maintenance to meet safety regulations and the manufacturer's specifications. • Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company. • Understand and follow state and federal regulations applicable to the industry. • Work as a team to provide efficient and comprehensive service. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment with organized areas and regular cleanup. • Stock and assist with physical inventory. • Maintain tools and equipment in efficient operating condition. • Attend meetings held by Store Service Manager. • Process all necessary paperwork in a timely manner. • Observe all rules and procedures as trained and in accordance with Company policy.
