Essential Functions Promptly meet and greet every service customer in a friendly and courteous manner. Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department. Provide logical diagnostic services or repairs to address customers' concerns. Provide accurate estimates for all recommended services or repairs. Maintain open communication with technicians and the shop foreman regarding job status updates. Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings with courtesy and tact, without exacerbating the issues. Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets established by management. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry. Write and complete work orders, explain the work done to the customer, and collect payments. Strive to ensure that every customer is delighted with the level of service the shop offers. Provide superior customer service at all times. Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company. Perform other duties as required by management. Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times when conducting business. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Repair electrical and electronic equipment Analyze equipment malfunctions to determine cause and corrective action Access all areas of ride structures for inspections and maintenance Install adequate temporary and/or permanent power for events and festivals throughout the season Assist with various electrical needs for new construction and remodeling projects as assigned Climb stairs or ladders to heights over 50ft while carrying tools and equipment and be able to use them Maintain positive interaction with other employees and guests Other tasks and duties as assigned Reporting Structure: Reports to the designated Electrical Foreman Skills and Qualifications: State Journeyman's license preferred Theme park ride experience a plus Must be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment using PLC, and relays Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment Able to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in extreme heat/cold and sun Able to carry tools and lift at least 50lbs Must be comfortable working at heights over 50ft Must be able to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed Must possess a valid Driver's License with a good driving record Must be at least 18 years of age

What You'll Do As an Electrician at Nickle Electrical, you'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of settings. You will support our projects across the Tri-State area, ensuring all work meets industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Install electrical equipment and systems according to plans, specifications, codes, and standards. Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits. Maintain and repair electrical systems such as switchgear, motor controls, lighting, panels, conveyor systems, and power supplies. Test electrical systems and circuits with testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes) to verify safety and functionality. Inspect systems and components for hazards, defects, or compliance issues. Lead or support workers and apprentices in installing and repairing electrical systems. Diagnose malfunctions and correct issues using hand tools and test equipment. Maintain a safe work environment, comply with OSHA policies, and support safety initiatives. Prepare toolbox talks and support project success alongside the Foreman. Support the maintenance of company property and support the merit shop philosophy.
