VP Senior Underwriting Manager- E&S Property

Zurich E&S is currently looking for a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for our E&S Property team. This position will be responsible for developing, coaching, and managing a high-performing regional team of Property underwriting staff. Additional responsibilities include managing regional performance, including new business production, policy count retention, rate/tiering execution, and portfolio management actions relative to plan; managing regional wholesale broker relationships; managing underwriter referrals; and maintaining a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes and desk-level challenges. This position will be based out of our Atlanta office. You will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents. VP Level Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Underwriting, Market Facing, Broker, Carrier, or Risk Management area within the Commercial Insurance industry OR Bachelor's Degree with 20 or more years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support area within the Commercial Insurance industry AND Experience in E&S Property 2 or more years of people management experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Strong underwriting acumen and expertise in the E&S Property space Wholesale broker relationships Strong planning and execution experience Strong team building and organizational skills CPCU Excellent communication skills Excellent skills in relationship building Strong presentation skills Strong knowledge of forms language and coverage intent Results oriented Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience.
