Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Facilities Technician for the Postcard Cabins Chattahoochee Outpost, located in Suches, GA. Job Purpose: This Position provides excellent customer service, oversees property maintenance repairs, assists in ensuring each cabin is ready for guest arrivals, and leads by example during all daily tasks. This position must present warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance to reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by monitoring the guest ticketing system to ensure tickets are answered in a timely manner. Ensure cabin maintenance repairs are prioritized for the guest experience. Analyze guest feedback and create a plan to resolve facilities issues. Test new ideas, measure the results and embrace honest feedback in the spirit of always improving day-to-day operations. Oversee, schedule, and perform periodic preventative maintenance on cabins (cabin integrity, woodwork, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and interior/exterior equipment), with 100% program completion monthly. Perform periodic landscaping maintenance on both the Outpost and Residential grounds. Maintain par stock of facilities-related supplies to optimum quantity levels and working conditions. Assist in Facilities project planning and execution. Adhere to Hotel Equities safety policies at all times to maintain a safe work environment. Support day to day operations as needed, including but not limited to; facilities, housekeeping, laundry, trail running, cabin inspections, guest interactions. Skills Experienced in directly supporting facilities maintenance programs (2-4+ years). Experienced in industries similar to hospitality, residential multi-family, small health care or education. Experienced working in compliance with regulatory and trade safety such as ADA, OSHA, NFPA and other AHJ guidelines and policies. Knowledgeable in handyman trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry/cabinetry, painting, and other miscellaneous small appliance repair skills. Experienced in utilizing technology and apps to work more efficiently. A lover of the outdoors; happy to work outside during all seasonal weather conditions. 18 years of age, or older. Good physical health and stamina Flexibility to work varying shifts Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards Excellent organization skills Ability to follow instructions High school diploma is a plus This is the perfect job for someone who likes to fix things and work with others, has an impeccable eye for detail, and thrives in a self-directed work situation.
