We are looking to hire Registered Nurses to support our two Emergency Departments in Nampa, Idaho! The Day To Day Our nurses enjoy autonomy in their naturally fast paced roles, and work closely with a physicians in the treatment of patients. Our most common cases are fractures, fevers, allergic reactions, COPD, and other respiratory illnesses, as well as traumas appropriate for a Level VI Trauma Center. Trauma's that require a higher level of care are routed to our Boise hospital. Teamwork is at the core of how we function ! We are primarily in need of full-time, night shift nurses, willing to work a schedule of 7pm to 7am. However - well qualified candidates may be considered for part-time and/or day shift opportunities if available. Colleagues self-schedule their hours in advance and are expected to work 2 weekends per month. Colleagues who support our Emergency Departments (ED) in Nampa have the unique opportunity to float between our Medical Center ( located just off the Garrity exit as well as our freestanding Emergency Department on 12th Avenue ( We Are Looking For Our ideal candidates will have some RN experience and will have obtained their ACLS. In addition, they will have some experience with taking care of critical patients and will be able to utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to prioritize patient needs. They will have a desire to take care of all types of patients and will want to be part of a team. The Locations Our new state-of-the-art Nampa Garrity ED, located right off I-84 ( opened in June of 2017 and is classified as a Level VI Trauma Center. With 30 beds, we see an average of 80 patients per day, and proudly serve a wide variety of patients in Canyon County. Our colleagues have the opportunity to float to our 12th Avenue ED, allowing for cross-training and increasing knowledge. We pride ourselves on our level of commitment and integrity, as well as outstanding teamwork. Our Nampa 12th Avenue ED ( is freestanding, equipped with 16 beds to help us serve a wide variety of patient needs. We see as average of 35 patients per day, with many types of injuries and illnesses, including respiratory ailments, fractures, and allergic reactions. Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire. All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date. Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk. At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS) Prefer one or more years of RN experience in an emergency setting BLS/HCP certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
