The position may be located in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada. The NSHE is comprised of eight institutions: two universities, a state university, four community colleges and a research institute. The public system of higher education in Nevada continues to experience growth with significant challenges and opportunities in serving over 110,500 students and 15,000 employees. The Assistant to the Vice Chancellor reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs and acts as the primary support administrator, providing proactive administrative assistance for the Vice Chancellor and the Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) department. The individual serves as a confidential representative and liaison with senior management, faculty, system-wide administration officials, and the public. The Assistant is responsible for supporting the priorities of the Vice Chancellor and day-to-day administrative operations of the department. SALARY GRADE: This position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the candidate's education, experience, and certification/training. Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP) is a physician-led 120+ provider multispecialty group seeking a part-time Pathology Anatomic and Clinical Medical Director in Fresno, California. The selected candidate will lead the pathology laboratory, managing all facets of its operations, and will contribute approximately 15 hours per week. This includes planning, organizing, and directing activities of the Laboratory with support from administrative directors, managers, supervisors, and senior technologists. The Director will also serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, collaborating closely with physicians and other health care providers. Responsibilities include providing clinical direction, ensuring laboratory oversight, validating tests, and maintaining College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation. Experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory is desirable. As a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, the Director will consult with clinical staff and participate in tumor boards.
