Position Overview The Lube and Die Technician provides a support function for the Production and Maintenance groups. The Technician will follow machine specifications to assure the proper lubes are being used, maintained and when spent, assure the proper handling and disposal of the lube product. The Technician will also evaluate dies - both new and existing dies to assure the dies are ready for production and stored in a manner to prevent damage and assure integrity. Understands the handling and use of lubricants. Understands associated material MSDS and HMIS requirements. Complete yearly RCRA Hazardous Waste Training. Complete OSHA Hazard Communication Video and Test. Complete the Hazardous Communication Data Sheets Video and Tests. Sign manifests for Hazardous Waste pickup and removal. Can maintain inventory systems for associated lubricant materials. Can maintain work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
