Description Specialization: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Job Summary: Medical City Children s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join its growing cardiac critical care team of eleven physicians and eight nurse practitioners. The successful candidate will join a team that provides 24/7 in-house comprehensive care for critically ill neonates, infants, children, and adult congenital cardiac patients in a high-acuity CICU environment while contributing to program development, quality improvement, education, and clinical innovation. Candidates for our level IV NICU are invited to consider joining our division working alongside an experienced team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. We are the only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital. Our section of fetal echo is located at Ochsner Baptist Hospital and coordinates care of babies with complex congenital heart diseases.
