Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN Department: Radiology / Imaging Services Reports To: Imaging Manager / Radiology Supervisor Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Matthews, North Carolina. The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities: Operate MRI equipment to perform a variety of scans in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety Position patients correctly and use safety measures to prevent injury or discomfort Monitor patients during scanning and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies Ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnosis Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in PACS and EMR systems Follow all safety regulations, including MRI safety protocols and infection control procedures Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting Participate in equipment maintenance and quality control procedures Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited MRI program ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required Current BLS certification required Strong knowledge of MRI safety and procedures Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior MRI experience preferred but new graduates may be considered Benefits: Competitive salary Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement savings plan Continuing education support Career development opportunities How to Apply: Please submit your resume by email to for immediate consideration.
