Job Overview: The Manufacturing Technician will support PVC & CPVC fabrication, assembly, and production operations while also assisting with field startup activities as needed. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to understand technical drawings and system layouts. Responsibilities: Operate saws, drills, routers, and other fabrication equipment for PVC/CPVC cutting, drilling, and assembly. Assemble components by hand and using semi-automatic or automatic equipment, including CNC and injection molding machines. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders to complete assigned tasks. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble PVC & CPVC components according to specifications. Load and unload shipments for the factory and production facility. Perform machine setups and routine equipment maintenance. Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards. Maintain accurate production records and report material usage or issues to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. Assist with inventory management and purchasing activities. Pick and pack parts for orders when required. Assist with system startups for aeration equipment, including all installations, and overall functional verification. Support troubleshooting during the startup phase by documenting issues, reporting field conditions, and recommending corrective actions. Participate in site inspections to verify proper installation of piping, fittings, and system components. Communicate effectively with contractors, supervisors, and engineering teams during startup tasks. Represent the company professionally during field visits and maintain safety compliance at all times.
