Title: Junior Audio-Visual Technician Location: Springfield, VA Clearance: TS/SCI (with ability to obtain CI Poly) Work Model: On Customer Site (Full-time) Contact: Overview We are seeking a Junior Audio Visual (AV) Support Technician to join our team supporting our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. This role requires a proactive, flexible individual with diverse technical skills and a willingness to cross-train. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the Conference Center AV Liaison for all events. Coordinate and plan customer requirements for conference center events. Address AV/IT-related questions or concerns. Provide situational awareness to stakeholders regarding AV/IT maintenance and upgrades. Deliver live event support. Maintain IT and AV equipment, including digital signage, monitors, laptops, video recording devices, and related end-user devices. Operate and manage presentation, sound, lighting, and video conferencing systems. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for AV equipment usage. Escalate issues to Tier 3 support when necessary. Provide workstation, VoIP, and voice/video conference support. Troubleshoot and resolve AV/IT incidents, collaborating with engineering teams as needed. Train users in basic hardware/software functions. Document and maintain SOPs to onboard and train new staff. Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly. Knowledge in one or more of the following: AMX, Crestron, Extron A/V equipment AMX touch panels Camera control and production switchers Audio/video signals, mixers, speakers, and connections Thin and thick client workstations Voice and VTC support services Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to create documentation and SOPs. Ability to work flexible schedules and independently on projects. Ability to stand/walk across campus and lift/move AV equipment. Experience with Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Team player with enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies. Education & Experience Associate's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
