Actively pursues continuous improvement in the quality of student transportation services and control of those services. Determines necessary and most efficient bus routes. Assures maintenance of buses and support vehicles in accordance with WCPSS and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) policies and practices. Maintains a strong vehicle safety program in compliance with state DPI and department of insurance regulations. Develops and administers the transportation operating budget. Assures accountability for expenditure of all funds. Establishes procedures and practices for procuring parts, supplies and equipment for the department. Monitors requests for payment submitted by vendors for compliance with purchase provisions; verifies that payment is authorized only for services actually rendered or parts delivered. Our client, a network of healthcare centers in New York City providing high-quality integrated medical care, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner. The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical evaluation, education and management for clients that present for routine, preventative, acute and chronic disease health care services at the site. The nurse practitioner will coordinate all of the services necessary for health promotion, maintenance, rehabilitation and the prevention of disease and disability. Responsibilities: Working with a team of RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants the on-site medical provider has a critical role in assessing the suitability of new admissions to this set up where individuals are mostly isolated in hotel rooms with twice daily observation.
