Job Summary and Responsibilities Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking a patient-centric, collaborative MFM OBGYN Advanced Practitioner to join our growing MFM team in the Department of Women's Health in Phoenix, Arizona. Details: Group of 9 Physicians. This position is being created to support continued growth of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine service line at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, improve patient access to high-risk obstetric care, and enhance physician efficiency. The APP will play a key role in expanding access for consultations and follow-up care, supporting specialty programs such as diabetes and hypertension in pregnancy, and strengthening care coordination. This position supports a growing Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. The APP will work closely with MFM physicians, sonographers, nursing staff, and a diabetes educator to deliver high-quality, coordinated care for high-risk obstetric patients. Case mix/patient population: High-risk obstetric patients including maternal medical conditions, diabetes in pregnancy, hypertensive disorders, fetal growth concerns, abnormal antenatal testing, and complex pregnancies requiring ongoing surveillance and multidisciplinary care. The APP will provide outpatient clinical care, patient counseling, and care coordination under physician supervision. Responsibilities will include management of protocol-driven conditions such as diabetes and hypertension in pregnancy, review of remote monitoring data, and support of consultation workflows. Scope will expand based on experience and demonstrated competency. Projected Volumes: Strong and growing patient volumes with immediate opportunity to support access and expand follow-up care services. Primarily outpatient. Inpatient: Limited involvement based on experience and service needs Typical work week: Primarily outpatient-based role located at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
