Job Description Job Description Are you someone who takes pride in building things the right way and seeing a job come together from start to finish? We're looking for a skilled and motivated duct installer to join our team in Key West. This role will focus primarily on commercial and new construction projects, with some residential work as well. You'll be a key part of delivering clean, efficient, and properly installed duct systems that perform the way they're supposed to. At Rocket Cooling, we are not a corporate, red-tape company. What You'll Be Doing Installing ductwork systems for commercial and new construction projects Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and mechanical layouts Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing duct systems (flex, metal, and duct board) Hanging and securing ductwork according to code and project specifications Sealing duct systems properly to ensure efficiency and performance Installing boots, grilles, registers, and diffusers Working alongside project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites Ensuring all work meets local codes and company quality standards Troubleshooting layout or installation challenges in the field Assisting with equipment setting and basic HVAC install tasks when needed Maintaining a clean and organized job site Loading and unloading materials and ensuring trucks are stocked for upcoming jobs What We're Looking For Experience with duct installation (commercial and/or residential) Ability to read blueprints and understand job layouts Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, high-quality work Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments Reliable and consistent Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions (attics, rooftops, job sites) Valid driver's license and clean driving record About Us Sub-Zero, a Rocket Cooling company is a fast-growing HVAC company built on a simple idea: do things the right way and take care of people.
