Quad is seeking a full-time Recycling Technician/Clamp Truck Operator at our Franklin, WI facility. We have the following shift options to offer: Monday - Friday 5 am - 1 pm Monday - Friday 1 pm - 9 pm plus $ 3.00 shift premium Overtime is always a possibility, but never guaranteed. Wages start between $18.00 - $21.00 / hour or more based on relevant work experience and stability with work history. Other responsibilities of the position include: Coordination of materials to be recycled within the plant using a forklift or tugger. Removal of all recyclables from around the plant Depositing recyclables into the recycling system Operating the bailing and shredding system Separating and storing the various grades of recyclables for shipment Loading semi-truck trailers and rail cars Complete basic forms for billing and service orders Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Mechanical aptitude and skills to perform troubleshooting and maintenance. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills. Ability to analyze problems for root causes and determine solutions. Ability to match and detect differences in similar color shades and hues. We are seeking a candidate who are flexible and could work any of these shift options, as production needs do change from time to time: Available Shift: Monday - Friday - 9 PM - 5 AM + $3.00 shift premium Monday - Wednesday (every other Thursday) 5 AM - 5 PM This position is responsible for the setup and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. About the Role: The Steel Barco 2nd shift Operator will be tasked to run our Oscillating line on 2nd shift. This position will need a highly motivated self-sufficient individual due to a lack of supervision on this shift. Once training is complete the operator and an assistant operator will work 2nd shift. Operators are required to troubleshoot issues, report quality issues, set up the machine based on the order requirements and meet daily production goals. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to be trained on the specific machine/equipment hired for. Must be able to read and fill out all documents related to job after training. Must be able to do basic math which includes fractions and decimals. Must have the ability to read tape measure, calipers and micrometer (after training). Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and stoop/bend repeatedly throughout the day. Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to work 2nd shift after training is complete.
