Position Description Position Summary: NRE seeks an experienced, results-driven Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team at New River Electrical Company. As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for handling the EPC procurement process, sourcing suppliers, and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist the Procurement Manager in building out a lean and robust sourcing and procurement organization. Assist Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies for EPC business that enhance supply chain efficiency. Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards. Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with EPC organizational goals. This position requires the ability to foster long-term supplier relationships, travel anticipated to be 25%. Management Tasks: Manage and lead Procurement staff including Senior Buyers and Expeditor roles. Together with your team, implement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Source and negotiate with potential suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability based on predefined criteria. Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop EPC sourcing strategies. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying process enhancements. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to higher management. Develop and maintain procurement metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement and report on sourcing effectiveness. Position Requirements Required Skills/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field. 4-7 years of experience in sourcing and demonstration of sourcing leadership. In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices. Demonstrable experience in the North American and global markets and familiarity with local suppliers and sourcing channels in electrical construction and the electrical industry. Strong skills in cost optimization, TCO, and negotiation techniques. Knowledge of vendor management systems. An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. Willingness to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Ability to lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
