WORKFLOW & REFERRAL PROCESS: Referral Sources: Referrals come from both within PCP network and outside, processed through Central Scheduling. Ultrasound Workflow: 8 out of 10 referrals require an ultrasound before an appointment. These are reviewed by the Cardiac Care surgery team and scheduled by the front office staff. Ultrasound Scheduling: All ultrasounds are currently conducted at the Health Plaza South (3rd floor) location, scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. Post-Ultrasound Appointments: After the ultrasound, patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments at either the Conway or Health Plaza South location.
