Job Description: Under the general direction of Vice President for Strategic Initiatives & Planning, the Director of EOP administers the Educational Opportunity Program. Responsibilities include the supervision of staff, provision of referral and assistance services, coordination of student development and academic support services and compliance with all reporting and procedures. Develop and implement an annual assessment plan to support data driven decision making for all areas of EOP programming. Prepare reports and maintain office records as required by the College and the SUNY Office of Special Programs in a timely and professional manner, including budget management and control. Facilitate EOP student advisement, registration, and enrollment including ongoing reporting on the status of EOP students (e.g., academic standing, enrollment). Plan, coordinate and implement year-round programming for EOP students to include the development and implementation of various recruitment activities, orientation sessions, summer programming, and retention initiatives. Develop, staff, and recruit for the EOP summer program to support student success, academic preparation, engagement with the college, and familiarity with the campus and available services and supports.
