POSITION SUMMARY The Construction Lead Person (Steel Erection) is an important entry level supervisory position. The Construction -Lead Person (Steel Erection) assists the Superintendent and Foreman in supervising and leading a group of Employee-Owners (i.e., construction crews and the individual Employee-Owners on a jobsite) in the erection of pre-engineered, prefabricated steel buildings. -Lead-men lead small groups of workers on specific tasks and installations on specific tasks and installations safely, skillfully, efficiently, and on schedule. This position is an important step on the path to becoming a Foreman, and requires leadership, mentoring abilities and a strong desire to learn.
