Job Description Opportunity at a Glance The Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs is responsible for assuring that all divisions comply with applicable federal, state and provincial education laws and regulations in order to establish and maintain continuous operating approvals. Position Overview The Quality Technician will assist the Product Safety & Quality Manager in planning, implementing, monitoring and continually improving the quality process and the overall Product Safety and Quality program to ensure it is effective in meeting internal and external customer requirements. They will also assist with communicating and implementing compliance requirements, root cause analysis and CA/PA process, and development of training programs and employee training as it relates to PS&Q. Responsibilities Manage the continuous improvement process for internal and external nonconformances, returns, reworks and corrective and preventive actions, and the quality check systems for product and process capability performance. Work with various departments to investigate root cause of internal and external nonconformances and collaborate with other departments to recommend actions to correct/prevent occurrences. Support Sales team on customer visits for new opportunities, business transitions, complaint analysis and product performance. Provide data analysis for process improvement, goal setting and root cause analysis for improving the effectiveness of the quality process to include daily, weekly and monthly reports for leadership review. Provide support to production personnel on understanding requirements for new items and items with a complaint history. Participate in Product Safety and Food Safety programs including internal and external audits. Perform and lead the internal facility inspection program. Participate in HARA program. Maintain BRCGS quality management systems. Conduct new hire training covering PS&Q topics. Assist with customer compliance requests. Qualifications Safety is priority.
