Job Description Job Description Swiss CNC Set-Up/Operator The Swiss CNC Set-Up/Operator produces custom precision parts by setting up jobs and operating a multi-axis CNC Swiss-Style machine. Responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Set up production jobs and edit/adjust CNC programs. Determine tooling needs, place tooling order requests with purchasing department and make tool lists. Responsible for the operation of multiple machines throughout the day producing parts within required tolerances. Request job packets, material, and gauging for new set ups. Responsible for inspection of product utilizing various types of inspection equipment. Make offset adjustments, sharpen, change, adjust tooling, and maintain fluids.
