We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to become a vital part of our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Support physicians with patient care and maintain the cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, charting, and communicating with insurance providers and primary care physicians. Administer medications and assist with routine examinations in accordance with established nursing care plans. Observe patient responses to treatments and report findings accurately. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Required Skills: Current New York State LPN licensure. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an inpatient or mental health setting. Ability to be re-certified in CPR. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Nice to Have Skills: Pediatric experience.
