Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Lead daily rounds and address complex cases with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatment. Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at reducing hospital-acquired conditions, readmissions, and length of stay. Monitor and report key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Education and Mentorship: Mentor and support the professional development of hospitalist team members. Conduct regular team meetings and educational sessions to promote best practices. Qualifications: Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine . Licensure: Unrestricted Wisconsin medical license (or ability to obtain). Current DEA certification. Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience as a hospitalist (preferred). Previous leadership or administrative experience is a plus. Skills and Attributes: Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
