What You'll Do Develop the local electrical playbook that includes inventory selection, fleet design, services and price book configuration, and operational guidelines. Install, repair and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in both residential and commercial buildings. Support the related electrical needs from businesses plumbing and HVAC service verticals. Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. Connect electrical systems to power lines to provide electricity to the building. Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Replace conduit and wiring as needed. Replace circuit breakers as needed. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes. Maintain required licensing; keep current with the latest training on current products. Communicate regularly with dispatch to assess and adjust labor capacity in order to support customer demand and business needs. Develop and monitor budgets, revenue and margin goals and departmental objectives. Review work orders, invoices and time reports to ensure profitability. Work alongside HVAC Service Manager to support lead generation, promotes cross-selling of HVAC and electrical services, develop maintenance agreements, and estimate and generate bids for larger electrical projects. Complete special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Master Electrical Contractor license required. 5+ years of residential electrical experience. 2+ years of leadership or management experience preferred. Must have a valid drivers' license and a good driving record. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
