Key job responsibilities - Supports the Data Center Design Engineering, Principal Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams to design and develop innovative concepts into new products needed for power distribution for data center. - Lead new product design, development and work with internal teams to understand design requirements and solicit customer input. - Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical and structural engineering, reliability, QA/QC and compliance to create well thought out products. - Creation of designs which meet or exceed our quality requirements while delivering a return on investment. - Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment, devices and bill of materials. - Ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes across different countries. - Prepare, Review and approval of product design and drawings including electrical bill of materials, configuration, layouts, assembly, construction and electrical wiring drawings. - Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during manufacturing phases. - Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to properly set up test processes and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical products. - Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions. - Be a leader within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
