The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing all warehouse activities and inventory control processes to ensure the optimization of resources in accordance with customer requirements and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing local warehouse network and inventory planning - 50 %
• Managing packaging/indirect materials inventories - 15 %
• Managing/Coordinating shipping and receiving logistics - 15 %
• Managing/Coordinating product repackaging - 10 %
• Managing/Coordinating off-site and warehouse rework - 10 %
• Create, utilize, and maintain all indirect materials and vendor master data.
• Manage all ERP inventory planning and control functions including materials handling, master scheduling, inventory turnover, stocking, forecasting, and administrative controls.
• Monitor and analyze local warehouse and shipping performance to ensure acceptable performance, as well as development and implementation of continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain Kanban controls for all indirect, warehouse and shipping materials.
• Generate documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for shipping and receiving.
• Compliantly manage local, off-site warehouse operations and activities to ensure alignment with corporate policies and goals.
• Coordinate local logistics for the physical movement of orders, and indirect and raw materials.
• Manage budget, corporate and marketing-compliant packaging for production and shipping.
• Supervise all warehouse and shipping staff, including training, performance review, and employee development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and 5-7 years related work experience are required.
• Familiarity with, and work experience within, ERPs, preferably SAP, are preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in business, systems engineering, or supply chain management, and 1-3 years of work experience are preferred.

LANGUAGE/MATH/REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals are necessary. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence are necessary. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization is required.
• Command of basic math utilization, such as calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume is necessary. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry are required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of obvious and abstract variables, in situations where only limited standardization exists, are necessary. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form are required.

COMPUTER SKILLS
• Working command of MS Office suite, SharePoint, and ERP inventory transactions are required.
