Manages multiple core marketing responsibilities and business processes looking to continually improve the impact and operational effectiveness of US Rheumatology, and the impact it has on overall US business. Identifies problems and conceptualizes solutions using creativity and innovation. Manages development of promotional materials including related training, meetings and tactics. Makes recommendations and manages budget for respective tactics and agency partners. Manages tactical development and material approval process for the brand across channels including personal and non-personal promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a team-based environment assisting in the development and execution of engagement strategies and tactics to maximize sales, market share and profitability across therapeutic areas within the Rheumatology franchise.
- Create high-impact promotional materials that support strategic objectives. Managing promotional projects within assigned budget. Deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion (meets deadlines including expedited launch timelines).
- Understand trends in the marketplace impacting professional marketing using data driven strategic insights and apply these to the marketing plan.
- Partner in driving innovation, best practice sharing, and evolution of marketing capabilities across the Rheumatology franchise.
- Maintain a strong understanding of product brand stories across therapeutic areas as needed, deriving insights from the data that will help to inform strategy and tactical implications.
- Maintain a strong familiarity of current in-market assets to maximize efficiencies across the franchise team
- Partner with cross-functional teams to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of tactical executions through campaign measurement plans, key performance indicators and formulate recommendations for optimization.
- Work with internal and external cross-functional groups (Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Project Management, Sales Training, Consumer Marketing, Market Analytics and Business Insights) and external partners (Ad Agency, Digital Agency) to insure integration and consistency of professional business strategies and regulatory compliance of promotional materials.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. Advanced degree or previous sales/marketing experience required.
- Must have strong planning and organization skills.
- Ability to plan and execute effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups outside of team (sales training, sales force, Regulatory, Legal, Medical).
- Knowledge of marketing organization and practices.
- Experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Rheumatology market trends and competitive practices.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Digital marketing experience.
