Responsibilities:

Individual will be a part of the Salesforce Back Office Team within the IT organization supporting Conga CPQ (aka Apttus CPQ) for the Order Desk, Finance, as well as Sales. In addition, individual will support a custom solution called LTM (License Tracking and Management) that is built on the Salesforce/Conga platform. The Salesforce Back Office Team is a cross-functional team that operates in an Agile fashion to support some of the more technically complex needs of the of the business. The responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Contribute to Agile planning processes such as backlog refinement and sizing/scoring of User Stories.

Design technical solutions in collaboration with the Conga CPQ Architect, the Salesforce Architect, and other team members.

Design solutions with a bent towards out of the box Salesforce and Conga capabilities over custom code.

Perform hands-on configuration and development work on both Conga CPQ and Salesforce.

Perform development/config work within the bounds of 2 week sprints.

Participate in design/code reviews.

Contribute to key projects such as the multi-year Conga CPQ global rollout.

Build meaningful unit tests that provide comprehensive coverage for custom Apex code.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce/Conga Developer

A strong background in both configuration and coding on both the Conga CPQ and Salesforce platform is expected.

Experience with the Salesforce security model, workflow tools, validation rules, page layouts, managed packages, and other fundamental configuration capabilities is expected.

Experience with Apex classes, triggers, web services, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Visual Force, and Lightning Components is expected.

Hands on experience with several complex Conga CPQ implementations is desired.

Experience with data loads is expected.

Experience with CI/CD is expected.

Salesforce Certifications and Apttus certifications preferred but not required

Experience working in an agile environment is preferred.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision on complex problems.

Good communication skills needed in order to collaborate with a wide range of technical resources and business resources with varying levels of domain knowledge on any given issue.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills needed in order to independently get to the root of a problem and propose a solution.

Must be able to follow good governance practices in order to work on a Salesforce platform that has multiple teams doing deployments.

Must have good documentation skills in order to properly track work on Stories in Salesforce.

Must have a proven track record of delivering quality work with attention to detail.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant field is required.
