Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), you will perform the following duties:
* Working with a team of developers that are responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing HR information technology (HRIT) products;
* Working with customers and stakeholders, and other agency program offices to identify HR needs and develop solutions;
* Resolving critical issues affecting the agency's suite of HRIT applications; and
* Working with a team of contractors that provides operational support, data analysis, advisory, and consultative services to all areas of HR management.

* Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties that include:
* Collaborating with HR customers and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met in the design, development, and implementation of new HRIT products and services;
* Evaluating the effectiveness of individual applications through customer feedback and data analysis;
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes; and
* Overseeing the testing and evaluation of changes and enhancements of products.
