About the Job:
Summary
The Grant Administrator is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the grantmaking process once a grant has been approved. This role also manages the operational aspects of the adoption partner onboarding process once a new partner has been approved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Grant Administration

Review and process grant agreements including contracts, statement of terms, and master service agreements.

Submit, update, and process payments to grantees and partners.

New Partner Administration

Onboard new partners by creating profiles and accounts in grants system, sharing information about policies and procedures, and setting up bank information.

Compliance

Monitor compliance with grant administration policies (e.g. 501(c)(3) validation, receipt of required follow-up reports, etc.).

Customer Service

Respond to phone/email inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including animal welfare groups, grantees, and PetSmart store associates.

Record Management, Reconciliation, and Reporting

Maintain and provide continuous upkeep of internal databases to ensure accurate records.

Assist with reconciliation of grant administration database to the financial system.

Facilitate the system interface with PetSmart for adoption partner information.

Run routine reports for assigned area.

Perform other duties as assigned.
