Project Coordinator

PAE is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the US embassy in Moscow, Russia. The selected candidate will assist the Facility Manager with development, design, planning, and execution phases for construction and renovation projects. He/she will report directly to the DOS Facilities Manager. Duties and responsibilities listed below are not mutually inclusive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facility Manager with development, design, planning, and execution phases for construction and renovation projects the secure areas of the Secure Chancery Facility, the Existing Office Building and Embassy Compound.
  • As assigned by the Facility Manager (FM), acts as project coordinator for construction and renovation projects.
  • Coordinates with various sections in order to ensure smooth execution and successful completion of projects.
  • Ensures that plans and drawings comply with appropriate specifications.
  • Produces "as built" drawings in accordance with accepted industry practices.
  • Properly file and catalog drawings paying particular attention to security matters at all times.
  • Reports to the Facilities Supervisor, but coordinates work directly with FM or his/her designee.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • One year experience in the building trades or construction fields as a scheduler or planner.
  • Two years' experience in the operation of Auto CAD 2000 or higher
  • Must be 21 years of age and have completed secondary school or obtained a GED.
  • An Associate's degree in drafting, CAD or Architecture Technology preferred.
  • An additional two years of directly related experience may be substituted for the associate's degree. The experience must include working from sketches, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.
  • The ability to obtain a US government issued Top Secret clearance is required.
