We are seeking a Software Engineer Level 3 to become part of a highly skilled and motivated enterprise engineering team focused on delivering highly scalable and available technology solutions across the Payment Integrity R&D organization. The primary focus of this new team member will be to help lead the design and building of the go-forward Match Point workflow solution for the TPL/COB group within the Payment Accuracy organization.

This includes implementing third party applications, building integration layers on the Match Point backend data base. Responsible for the redesign of the TPL Data Match Rules Engine, consisting of approx. 1,000 highly complex edits that identify COB Lead generation and manage the message queue interface that sends & receives LEAD activity between the UI application & backend database

We are looking for a problem solver that has a passion for building high quality technology solutions with a focus on thoughtful design and a keen attention to detail. Our technology stack is running on AWS ( sql, nosql, java,.NET, relational databases, web services, API, public cloud (AWS, Azure), relational data bases, Postgres, micro-services ). We adhere to Scrum Agile methodologies as a company from the top down.

Strong experience in the following skills:

• Overall 8+ years Software Development experience
• 3-5 year minimum in AWS/cloud-based experiences, including public cloud (AWS, Azure), relational data bases, Postgres, micro-services, stored procedures, JSON
• Designed, developed, and deployed production applications in multiple programming languages, specifically in sql, nosql, java & .NET
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Strong Postgres, micro-service and Lambda functionality.
• Experience using NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB or DynamoDB .
• Experience in relational database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, or Amazon Aurora .
• Knowledge of JIRA, GitLab and Octopus Deploy highly preferred.
• Pluses for Amazon AWS, Lambda, API Gateways, Serverless Architecture and Docker.
• Think through hard problems where the best idea wins, and work with a team to make them a reality.

• Communicate effectively with infrastructure strategy & brainstorming.
• Strong analysis skills, thinks outside the box, can work well on their own, capable of defining requirements and designing new functionality.

  Strong communication and organizational skills

• Previous experience working on healthcare related platforms or working with the various types of healthcare data record types is a plus (member, provider, HCFA, UB, RX, 835/837, 270/271 record formats).
• Must be well versed in AWS related tools & technology
• Experience with JSON is a plus
• Healthcare industry & Healthcare platform experience a plus
  Familiarity with emerging technologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
