If you are a Slitter Operator with direct hands on industry experience working with Printing, Extrusion, Plastic, Packaging with experience, please read on!
We are seeking a number of hires for multiple shifts, from Press Operators, Laminator Operators, and Slitter machine operators.
The Slitter Operator will work on either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, running a slitter machine, which will include the loading and unloading rolls onto the machine, wrapping finished rolls of film and load onto pallet. and watching for problems with the equipment operation, product quality, etc.
In this role you will also constantly be checking for product quality, product consistency, and removing any poor quality film/produced materials..
As with any floor level role, this requires adherence to plant safety and quality standards/guidelines, as well as constant effective communication with various team members and key members of other departments.
Strong communication, documentation, motivation/self starting skills and a commitment to providing and producing a high quality product is a MUST.
We are offering a full benefit package, an positive and collaborative work environment and at this time a choice of ultimate shift, keeping in mind that initial training may take place on a shift that is NOT your ULTIMATE landing point.
