JOB SUMMARY:
Assumes responsibility for Sinai Care Management data analysis and reporting. Responsibilities include oversight of operations and maintenance of designated data systems, as well as various desktop applications. Candidates should have:
Familiarity with SAP PowerInsight/Business Objects for writing reports required. SQL experience preferred.
Familiarity with Tableau to analyze data and create data visualizations preferred.
Other systems used to extract data are Discern Analytics, HPM, and Premier.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technical Support
Serves as technical support for purchased software products utilized.
Acts as a technical expert, resource and advisor, supporting database applications and products developed for them.
Provides application knowledge and guidance to users in methods and techniques applied to data systems.
Develops plans for implementing additional application of data systems.
Data Integrity
Uses knowledge of automated methodologies to evaluate data integrity and resolves any discrepancies.
Verifies that data is accurate and complete, verifying sources and investigating/resolving discrepancies.
Conducts data integrity audits and assures efficient operation of application.
Advises on data dictionary and report rosters. Oversees maintenance of data dictionaries and report rosters.
Notifies all affected users of any data discrepancies.
Training
Develops and oversees training of personnel for new or modified software and specialty systems.
Develops and participates in detailed training for users for all new specialty systems and/or interface enhancements/modifications.
Coordinates training program deployment to assure users improve the ability to interact with the system
Updates personal knowledge of database applications, report generator capabilities and other products supported
REQUIREMENTS:
Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree
Education discipline in Healthcare Administration or related field
5-7 years of experience
Previous direct experience working in hospital Care Management environment is highly desirable.
