Job Details Director of Sales & Marketing Location: On-site Scottsdale, AZ Position Overview The Director of Sales & Marketing leads revenue growth efforts across a portfolio of corporate-managed hotels. This role is responsible for driving top-line revenue through proactive sales leadership, strategic market positioning, and oversight of marketing initiatives in partnership with external agencies. This individual is a strong commercial leader who blends hands-on sales execution with strategic planning, using market data, partnerships, and performance insights to maximize results across all channels. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute sales strategies across group, corporate, and negotiated segments Lead proactive sales efforts including prospecting, client development, and account management Identify new business opportunities through networking and industry relationships Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize profitability Travel as needed for sales calls, trade shows, and client meetings Revenue Strategy & Market Positioning Partner with revenue management on pricing, forecasting, and distribution strategies Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews Marketing Strategy & Oversight Provide strategic direction for all marketing initiatives to support revenue goals Act as the primary contact for external marketing and website partners Oversee digital marketing performance, including website, SEO/SEM, online reputation, and paid media Monitor campaign performance and optimize marketing ROI Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and channels Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with hotel leadership and operations teams to align sales and marketing efforts Support and guide property-level sales and marketing initiatives Provide training on sales strategy, market segmentation, and revenue optimization Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of hotel sales experience, with leadership or multi-property experience preferred Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets Strong understanding of hotel distribution, revenue management, and market analytics Experience working with external marketing agencies or vendors Knowledge of digital marketing strategy and performance metrics Interested in hearing more?
