Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Production Shift Supervisor. The individual in this role is responsible for assisting with tasks and delegation to team members on the production line during the scheduled shift.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for oversight and delegation to a team of 10-30 machine operators and/or assemblers in one or multiple production cells.
• Communicates job expectations by setting goals, planning, monitoring and scheduling one-on-ones with direct reports.
• Performance management activities include conducting performance appraisals, monitor performance by coaching and counseling, providing career guidance, and discipline by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring that operators are adequately trained on work instructions, equipment operation, and other assigned tasks.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel, implementing standards, and enforcing 6S and equipment guidelines.
• Maintains and tracks efficiencies of the cells by meeting with team daily, presenting KPI's, and communicating daily goals.
• Keeps team engaged by listening, gathering their ideas, and implementing continuous improvement.
• Assist with delegation of routine maintenance, minor repairs and troubleshooting to Automation Technicians and Machine Operators
• Support new equipment installation and validation and provide insight to technicians on protocol
• Ensures batch documentation is accurate and reviewed before submitting to QC.
• Responsible for the overall quality of product output in each cell. Works closely with QA to initiate NCMR's, Deviations, and address audit observations.
• Experience with organization ERP business applications and inventory control.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts such as Kaizen or other Lean systems.
• Provides assistance with development/construction/debug of new equipment
• Additional tasks as necessary to achieve organization goals and objectives.
Requirements:
• College degree in an engineering discipline preferred or equivalent experience in a supervisory / management role.
• 6+ years of relative work, preferable in a high-tech FDA / ISO regulated industry.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and best practices in industry is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks without supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Must work well with others across many disciplines (Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Bioengineers, administration, etc.)
• Ability to manage competing demands and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to prioritize workload proactively and expeditiously
• Highly motivated
Physical Requirements:
•Adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds
• Repeat motions with precision using the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Operate machinery and/or power tools
• Work inside a dry room with low humidity levels (around 5%)
• Requires irregular hours (overnight, weekends, overtime)
