POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage daily facility operation procedures.
Manage tasks with vendors, building and facility team staff.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and prioritize facility requests to completion submitted via Service Now within established timelines.
• Manage and/or actively complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance on office equipment and general building conditions, e.g. general plumbing, furniture repairs, HVAC systems, etc.
• Manage repairs provided by outside services and create work orders as needed. Negotiate costs, achieve savings, schedule onsite visits and ensure repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Manage and/or complete reoccurring scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. Develop and initiate additional preventative maintenance tasks as needed.
• Manage and/or complete both long term projects and general tasks assigned within expected date(s) established. Be able to work independently through challenges and issues for resolution. Be able to communicate delays or issues in a timely manner.
• Submit requests to building management for support and be able to identify and validate requests before assigning to building management.
• Through industry knowledge and experience, work with vendors to identify scope of work on special facility related projects. Obtain and successfully negotiate proposals
• Manage performance and productivity of two individuals through ongoing coaching and team development.
• Complete weekly inspections of space to identify issues and take the necessary action to resolve.
• Manage and prioritize tasks and urgent matters that arise. Be intuitive and take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement on standard procedures and best practices.
• Provide weekly summary reports on ongoing and completed tasks and projects. Identify potential issues and provided options to resolve.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
• Experienced and solid understanding in general facility responsibilities in supporting office and personnel.
• Experienced and general understanding of mechanicals and performing minor equipment repairs.
• Experienced in the assembly and removal of office furniture systems.
• Experienced with a general familiarity of OSHA guidelines and life safety procedures
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Education
• High school or GED education
• College degree or some courses completed
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• FMA, or PFM certification preferred but not required.
• LEED or WELL certification preferred but not required.
• Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Facility programs including service ticket systems, lighting systems
