We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering project teams as part of a multi-disciplinary design team in our Houston office. Our work encompasses a wide variety of building types with a large portion of our projects being focused within Healthcare facilities. We utilize digital tools and augmented reality to design state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Project leadership role for mechanical engineering design of projects across a wide variety of building typologies and sizes on multi-discipline teams
* Lead mechanical engineering project teams: supervise work of junior engineers, manage project budgets, ensure project delivery success
* Act as a project manager for a variety of multi-disciplinary projects
* Ability to lead a project from conceptual design through construction administration and closeout
* Deliver high quality and sustainable mechanical design solutions to our clients
* Present solutions to clients and project partners
* Engage with contractor trade partners during both pre-construction and construction administration

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
* Professional Engineering License in the US or ability to acquire within 1 year of employment
* At least 8 years relevant experience designing building HVAC systems, including airside and hydronic system components
* 4 or more years of experience working on healthcare projects
* Experience in sustainable, low-energy building design
* A demeanor and approach of high quality and personal pride in what you deliver
* Experience working and delivering in a Revit-based production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* LEED accreditation or Well certification
* Experience in whole-building energy modeling, early-stage energy or building physics analysis, and/or utilizing design tools such as IES, EnergyPlus, eQUEST, Python, or others

Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working. Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels. Motivation and willingness to take on new challenges.
