Overview:
- Answers and directs all incoming calls through Skype for Business. Performs administrative duties for the Customer Contact Center and Operations.
Essential Job Duties:
- Answers and directs all external and internal calls accordingly.
- Answers and screens calls and takes accurate messages for the Facilities, Operations, and MIS departments.
- Prepares correspondence for designated supervisors and departments. Proofreads and edits rough drafts, final copies and updated/corrected materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned including working on special projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2-year college degree of equivalent work experience in Receptionist or Administrative role
- 1-2 years receptionist/switchboard experience
- PC and various applications including Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Typing accurately of 50 WPM
- Prior experience with Skype for Business or similar application preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize work in order to handle several projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills. Thorough knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling rules.
- Patience to perform repetitive duty of answering many phone calls on switchboard every day.
